In case you missed my post discussing the many positive benefits aromatherapy offers to us, let me start by saying this – through the right use of aromatherapy (the use of scents to alter our moods) we can experience a subtle yet holistic effect on our bodies and minds.

Essential oils are a simple, but effective tool to help boost our sense of well-being.  Whether it’s helping to calm us or energise us for a productive day ahead.

So when OYL’E London let me know about their new aromatherapy Pulse Point Rollers*, I was more than happy to give them a try.

What are OYL’E Aromatherapy Pulse Point Rollers*?

OYL’E essential oil blends are diluted with carrier oils, such as Coconut or Jojoba, making them ready to be applied to your pulse points via a handy roller-ball applicator

Roller blends are fantastic for applying to pulse points to relive, revive and relax you.

What is a pulse point?

A pulse point is an area on your body where your heart pulse can be felt. These are the best spots to apply a scent due to the warmth of your blood. The points are located behind your ear, at the bottom of your throat, on your wrist, inside your elbow, and behind your knee.

Why I  recommend OYL’E Aromatherapy Pulse Point rollers.*

The school summer term was drawing to an end and the school summer holidays were looming, when I was kindly gifted the rollers to try.   I had already made a pledge with myself to maintain some much-needed self-care habits, such as a daily 10-minute meditation.  But I also knew I would benefit from using something that would be easy to reach for when I needed a few moments of breathing space.

The Aromatherapy Pulse Point Rollers were simple to apply and highly portable.  No bigger than a lipstick, I kept one in my handbag at all times.  If I felt at any time I was flagging, needed an extra boost to push me forward, maybe calm my nerves at times ( I mean summer-holidays with kids can test you right?)  then I just reached for my roller, applied to my pulse points, took 3 deep breaths inhaling the scent and allowing it work its magic.

It was great to have something there for me when I needed it the most.  They definitely aided my sense of well-being this summer!

Which one is right for you?

If you need uplifting, energising & detoxifying then Risè blend* is for you.  A zingy blend of orange, mandarin, pine and spearmint.

Equally uplifting, but this time also refreshing & calming, Mood blend* is a zesty mix of lemon, lime, scotch pine and rosemary. Plus, Mood blend has the additional benefit of balancing hormones.
