I love trying and wearing new foundations and believe me when I say I have tried A LOT! But despite countless foundation-flings, none have been special enough to claim the space in my makeup bag, currently filled by Estée Lauder Double Wear Light foundation*.

If you are looking for a foundation that
– is exceptionally easy to apply
– gives great natural looking (sheer to medium) coverage
– won’t clog your pores
– and stays put for a longer than average period of time, then…
Say hello to your next foundation!
I usually apply Estée Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation at around 7am and find that by 3pm it’s still in place. Only a dusting of powder and top up of blush required. Pretty good going by my standards!
For a natural-looking finish, I recommend application with a buffer brush using circular motions. I currently use ZOEVA 104 Screen Queen Buffer Brush*
Whilst I have found that it does help to control excess oil, you will still need to apply powder for a complete matte look. I recommend Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder*
Promise me, if you give this foundation a try, you will head in-store to have one of the Estée Lauder Consultants Colour Match you. Please don’t try to guess your shade online.
Additionally Estée Lauder often offers free 7-day trials – so what are you waiting for?
Around £33.50 – Oil Free – SPF 10 Find out more and purchase here*
If you require fuller coverage consider Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup* or for even lighter coverage try Estée Lauder Double Wear Nude Water Fresh Makeup* (my on-the-beach foundation)
